Located on the country’s main cities, and even next to their historical sections, or directly on several of their most beautiful beaches and natural settings, this facilities include hotels, villages and aparthotels, with comfortable conditions and the necessary services for a pleasant stay.

Based on the advantage that the abundant locations of this hotels provide in the Cuban geography, the Flexi, Fly & Drive program is a synonym of movement and flexibility; a product designed to meet the needs of those who want to enjoy their vacation freely, driving a comfortable car, with unlimited mileage and without being tied down to a set itinerary.

Everything has been considered to make your dreams come true, guaranteeing accommodations anywhere in Cuba, saving time and at very economical prices.

These prices include:
- The program includes an unlimited mileage car chosen among 4 different models and the accommodation as selected in more than 60 of the listed hotels placed at around 12 provinces in Cuba.

- The program permits 6 nights of accommodation and the same number of days for car rental. Each night of accommodation is equivalent to one day of car rental.

- It includes high standard of assistance in Cuba.

- It offers great flexibility regarding the booking of the hotels.

- At Viajes Cubanacan Tourist Board, located in the hotels from the list , you can take 4 excursions with 10 % discount from the public price in CUC or by credit card ( valid in Cuba) , by showing the discounting vouchers within the information kit.

Not included:
Concerning the car the program does not include: Insurance, damage coverage, gasoline or any other service not included in the rental contract. The client should pay them locally.(Please see rental company's conditions)

Children:
Children under 12 stay free if they share room with one or two adults. A maximum or two adults and one child per room is permitted.

Accommodation:
Accommodation is provided with the simple presentation of voucher and subject to room availability. If there is no room available, the hotel's desk will secure lodging at the nearest hotel that belong to the program at no extra cost for the customer.

The clients have the possibility to book the hotels once they are in Cuba (upon availability in hotels ) or book the hotels previously before the arrival in Cuba if you have planned your itinerary. This option is recommended if traveling during the high season. The reservation of the hotels in Cuba will be done directly by the clients either in the hotel desk or at the Viajes Cubanacan Tourist Board placed at the previous hotel.

There is no maximum of nights for staying in any hotel, if it has the availability.

The accommodation includes Breakfast (Plan CP).

For All Inclusive hotels the clients should pay locally at the hotel desk a compulsory supplement of 8.00 CUC per person per night.

The accommodation is in a standard room.

Our Travel Agency will not refund customers for services contracted not fully used or for loss of lodging and car rental documents or vouchers.

Car:
Car Rental Company: Rex.

There are 4 car models available in the program.

The car will be always picked up in one of the Rex car rental offices all around the country, where the client will sign a rental contract. At the moment of making the reservation of the program it should be specified in which Rex´ rental office the client wishes to pick up the car.

The client may drop off the car at any of the Rex´ rental offices in Cuba without having extra charges. If the car is dropped off at any other place a drop off charge is applied.

Concerning the car the program does not include: Insurance, damage coverage, gasoline or any other service not included in the rental contract. The client should pay them locally.

Viajes Cubanacan will not be responsible if the clients do not fulfill the terms stated at the rental contract with Rex.

In practice, the Viajes Cubanacan Travel Agency guarantees the reception of and assistance to clients directly at the airports where they arrive or in the central office, through a representative.

The tourist will give the representative the voucher issued by our travel agency, while the Viajes Cubanacan representative hands him the following:

- Set of hotel vouchers, each good for one night’s stay.
- Map showing locations of Hotels.
- Flexi Fly & Drive brochure.

The representative of Viajes Cubanacan will walk the client down to the car rental company located in the airport. Once the contract arragements have been concluded and after the client has carefully read all the contract’s clauses, he signs it and his vacation in Cuba begins with the Flexi Fly & Drive modality.

When making reservations, you should provide the following details: full name of driver, date, place and time to pick up and return the rented car. If you will take our program immediately after arrival in Cuba, please indicate arrival and departure airports, dates, times and flight numbers.

The clients will be welcomed by Viajes Cubanacan staff at the international airports in case of the program begins the day of the arrival or at the place stated in the reservation request. The international airports with this service are :

• Airport Juán G. Gómez - Varadero
• Airport Internacional de Cayo Coco – Cayo Coco
• Airport Frank País - Holguín
• Airport Antonio Maceo - Santiago de Cuba

For customers wishing to pick their cars in the cities not at the airports, in all the Tourist Board of Viajes Cubanacan placed at almost all hotels in the country (open 7 days a week from 0900 till 1700), the client can show our voucher for the Flexi Fly & Drive to start the program or confirm the reservation for the next hotel in the program.

The Assistant from Cubanacan will give to the clients the following documents: One open voucher for each night of accommodation valid for all hotels of the FFD, One voucher for the car Rental, One Route Map, Discounting vouchers for excursions (4), FFD brochure, Updated list of hotels and other general information.

When you finish the program, you can return the car to any of the car rental agency offices in the main cities or previously listed airports, regardless of your point of arrival. You will need to specify all the information in your reservation request.

Car Rental Information:

We work with the rental car company REX. Please find below company's rental conditions:

I. GENERAL:
I.1 Principal characteristic of the cars: mechanical transmission, air conditioning, air bags, ABS brakes system and Cassette or CD player.

I.2 Guarantee Deposit (does not include coverage for damage): In case that it is paid by cash the client should pay 500.00 CUC for each week of rental. It can be paid also by the credit card of one of the person inscribed in the rental contract. REX accepts the following credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, EUROCARD y JCB. In case that it is not accepted any of the coverage for damage, the client should pay 3000.00 CUC as guarantee.

I.3 The clients will receive the cars full of gasoline. All REX´cars use “special gasoline” which is required. If clients will not return the car with the tank full of gasoline, REX will charge to the clients the amount corresponding to the refuelling of gasoline, which is written on the rental contract.

I.4 The name of the co-drivers has to be written in the contract with a valid driver license and passport numbers when the car is checked out. Otherwise, the insurance, CDW (if accepted) will not cover for any damage made by the driver even though he/she are able to show a valid driver license.

I.5 Each additional co-driver will be charged 10 CUC on the contract. REX will accept 2 co-drivers per contract as maximum.

I.6 Minimum Age for driving: 21 years old.

I.7 The client should show his passport and driving license.

I.8 The client should return the car in the same conditions as picked it up.

I.9 The client is responsible for the incorrect use of the type and quality of the gasoline (Special gasoline is required).

I.10 The client will pay to the Car Rental company:

I.10.1 All additional charges specified in the contract: gasoline, guarantee deposit, penalties, including the coverage for damage if it was accepted.

I.10.2 If the insurance CDW was selected it should be paid a compulsory deductible up to 200.00 CUC in case of any damage to the car.

II. INSURANCE AND COVERAGE:
II.1 All Rex cars are insured against total or partial thieving, collision, disasters and damages to third persons. REX do not offer insurances to their clients. In order to protect the clients of economic responsibility in case of damages to the car, REX offers two alternatives of coverage against damages: CDW Y Super CDW. Both coverage are optional and can be acquired by paying the daily rates for each type of vehicle.

II.2 Partial Exemption of responsibility for damages to the integrity of the vehicle
(Collision Damage Waiver-CDW)

II.2.1 It is not insurance, it is an optional protection that liberate partially from economic responsibility in case damages to the vehicle, as long as the client do not violate the terms established in the rental contract.

II.2.2 The insurance daily rate variates according to the category of the car.

II.2.3 If the client accepts the CDW, he will be only responsible for the payment of a deductible (200.00 cuc). If the damage is superior to this amount, it won’t be charged to the client before a presentation of a police report, as long as the report do not shows that client violate any of the conditions of the rental contract (i.e Drugs or alcohol Consumption, driver not registered in the rental contract).

II.2.4 Rates of the Coverage for damage per type of car:

II.3 Total Exemption of responsibility for damages to the integrity of the vehicle
(Super Collision Damage Waiver- Super CDW)

II.3.1 If client accept the Super CDW, it is free of any economic responsibility for damages to the car. It means that in case of an accident (in which none of the terms of the rental contract is violated), the client won’t have to make any payment.

II.3.2 In case of an accident the client should present to Rex a Police Report and will pay only for the damages if the report shows a violation of the terms agreed in the rental contract (i.e Drugs or alcohol Consumption, driver not registered in the rental contract)

II.3.3 The rates of this protection variate according to the type of car.

II.3.4 Prices of Damage Coverage per type of car:

II.4 Those clients who do not accept any kind of Coverage for Damages, will be responsible of affording the expenses for repairing the car and all other costs from the damages, such as: Transportation of the car, cost of the vehicle not used until the value of the car in the market. At the beginning of the car rental period it should be make a deposit of 3000 cuc.

II.5 Insurance Coverages.

II.5.1 Limits for Liable responsibility against damages to third parties for any of the damages coverage:

II.5.1.1 Damages to other people’s properties caused of an accident, until 15,000.00 CUC.

II.5.1.2 Corporal Injury or death of a person, until 5,000.00 CUC.

II.5.1.3 Corporal Injury or death of more than one person as a result of an accident, subjected to a limit per person as per item II.5.1.2, until 25,000.00 CUC.

II.5.2 The client will afford total costs for damages to the car in the following cases:

II.5.2.1 Use of narcotics, alcohol or medicines that affect the right performance of the client or additional drivers registered in the rental contract.

II.5.2.2 If the car is driven by a person not registered in the Rental contract.

II.5.3 In case of accident or thefts the client should:

II.5.3.1 Notify immediately to the police and SEPSA.

II.5.3.2 Notify to the Car Rental Company: REX.

II.5.3.3 To take all security measures with the vehicle, avoiding additional damages.

II.5.3.4 Full Filing the damages formulary.

II. DROP OFF CHARGES FOR NOT LEAVING THE CAR IN A REX RENTAL OFFICE
